<br />• EXTRACT' OF MINU`1'ES OF MEETING OF THE <br />VILLAGE COUNCIL Oh' THE VILLAGE OF <br />FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA <br />HELD: JUNE 22, 1972 <br />Pursuant to due'call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Falcon Heights, <br />Minnesota, was duly called and held at the .Village Hall in <br />said Village on the 22nd day of June, 1972, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. <br />The following members were present : .,Mayor Warkentien, <br />Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Stone, Taylor, <br />and the following were absent : None <br />Member Councilman Ecklund introduced the following <br />resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 72-1 <br />RESOLU'1~IbN~'1~~. G PRELIMINARY REPORT <br />AND CALLING PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />STREET IMPROVEMENTS OF 1972 <br />• WHEREAS: <br />A. The Village Council deems it necessary and <br />expedient that the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, <br />construct certain improvements, to-wit: construction of <br />bituminous curbing, including sod replacement, in the <br />Village, as described in and in accordance with the <br />preliminary plans and report prepared by Bonestroo and <br />Associates, consulting engineers; <br />B. The Council has been advised by the consult- <br />ing engineers that said Street Improvements of 1972 are <br />feasible and should best be made as proposed, and the <br />consulting engineers' report to this effect has hereto- <br />fore been received by the Council, and filed with the <br />Village Clerk; <br />C. The statute provides that no such improvements <br />shall be made until the Council shall have held a public <br />hearing on such improvements following mailed notice and two <br />publications ttlereof in the official newspaper stating time <br />and place of the hearing, the general nature of the improve- <br />ment, the estimated costs thereof, and the area proposed to <br />be assessed, in accordance with law; <br />• <br />
