• <br />CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS No. 00-12 <br />COUNCIL RESOLUTION <br />Date: May 10. 2000 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2000 Alley Improvements, bids were received, <br />opened, and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the <br />advertisement: <br />1. T. A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc. $198,403.50 <br />2. Tower Asphalt, Inc. 213,790.25 <br />3. Palda and Sons, Inc. 270,725.60 <br />4. North Valley, Inc. 273,398.25 <br />5. Midwest Asphalt Corp. 283,836.90 <br />6. Bituminous Roadways, Inc. 311,414.00 <br />7. Ace Blacktop, Inc. 363,608.00 <br />• <br />AND WEREAS, it appears that T. A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of Falcon Heights, Minnesota: <br />1. The mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached <br />contract with T. A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc. in the name of the City of Falcon Heights for <br />the 2000 Alley Improvements according to the plans and specifications therefore <br />approved by the city council and on file in the office of the city clerk. <br />2.
