• <br />CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />COUNCIL RESOLUTION <br />03-10 <br />May 28, 2003 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2003 Street and Utility Improvements, bids were <br />received, opened, and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the <br />advertisement: <br />1. Jay Bros., Inc. <br />2. North Valley, Inc. <br />3. Northwest Asphalt, Inc. <br />4. Hardrives, Inc. <br />5. Bituminous Roadways, Inc. <br />6. Midwest Asphalt Corp. <br />$210,587.39 <br />$247,793.10 <br />$247,752.00 <br />$249,486.15 <br />$271,247.20 <br />$289,903.00 <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that Jay Bros., Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder; <br />•I~TOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of Falcon Heights, Minnesota: <br />1. The mayor and city administrator/clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract <br />with Jay Bros. Inc. in the name of the City of Falcon Heights for the 2003 Street and Utility Improvements <br />according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the city council and on file in the office of <br />the city clerk. <br />2.
