CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />• <br />COUNCIL RESOLUTION <br />No: 2006-09 <br />April 12, 2006 <br />AWARDING BIDS FOR ROSELAWN AVE RECONSTRUCTION <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the <br />plans and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Administrator of said City, said <br />bids were received on Wednesday, March 22, 2006, at 3:00 p.m., opened and tabulated <br />according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />BIDDER AMOUNT <br />Forest Lake Contractin $837,872.05 <br />Palda & Sons $856,341.41 <br />T.A. Schifs and Sons, Inc. $862,949.65 <br />Frattalone Com anies $992,212.92 <br />Park Construction $1,055,872.81 <br />• <br />• <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Forest Lake Contracting of Forest Lake, Minnesota, is the <br />lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of $837,872.05 and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Falcon <br />Heights, Minnesota: <br />1. The Mayor and Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Forest Lake Contracting, for $837,872.05 in the name of the City of <br />Falcon Heights for the above improvements according to the plans and <br />specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the <br />office of the City Administrator. <br />2. The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all <br />bidders the deposits made with their bids except the deposits of the successful <br />bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed. <br />Approved: ' ~, <br />Susan L.
