RESOLUTION NO. 06-11 <br />• RESOLUTION ORDERING THE RECONSTRUCTION <br />OF HAMLINE-HOYT AND APPROVING THE COOPERATIVE <br />CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF ST. PAUL <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of Falcon Heights received the Feasibility report on March 8, <br />2006 and ordered a public hearing for the reconstruction of Hoyt between Snelling and Pascal <br />Avenue and the Snelling Avenue Service Drive between Hoyt Avenue and Curtiss Field and; <br />AND WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice was given; <br />AND WHEREAS, this project is a joint project with the City of St. Paul; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Falcon Heights, <br />Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as <br />amended, the Council held a public hearing on Apri126, 2006, to consider the proposed <br />reconstruction of Hoyt Avenue and the Snelling Avenue Service Drive, consisting of the <br />installation of bituminous paving, concrete curb and gutter, drainage facilities, and necessary <br />appurtenances as described in the Notice of Hearings at a cost presently estimated at <br />$203,804.92 and substantially in accordance with the preliminary report as to the feasibility <br />thereof which is now on file in the office of the City Administrator; at which all persons <br />desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon, and having considered the <br />views of all interested persons, the Council does hereby determine and order that said <br />improvement shall be constructed and financed and that all streets be constructed <br />substantially as recommended in the feasibility report. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the plans and specifications, as prepared by the City of <br />St. Paul, are approved and that the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized to <br />execute the cooperative construction agreement with the City of St. Paul and thereby assume <br />for and on behalf of the City all of the contractual obligations contained therein. <br />Moved by: K.~rGr Approved by: <br />Susan L.
