MINUTES <br />REGULAR PLANNING COMMISSION r1EETING <br />MARCH 2, 1987 <br />Chairman Black called the Planning Commission meeting to order at <br />7:30 P.M. <br />Black, Grittner, Nestingen, Northrop, Daykin and Boche. Also present <br />was Council Liaison Wallin. <br />Finegan, Mead and Duncan. <br />Boche moved, seconded by Grittner, to approve the Planning Commission <br />Minutes dated February 2, 1987 as presented. Motion carried unanimously. <br />P.ichard Wenkel, 1825 Fairview, requested a permitted accessory use to <br />replace existing buildings of 1930's vintage, which are in need of repair, <br />to a pole type 12 foot by 24 foot metal storage building. He presented <br />letters from neighbors voicing no objections. After questions on <br />what type of floor will be installed (dirt when built and crushed rock <br />at a later date), location of storage building on lot, location of <br />doors and assurance that sheet metal exterior will be properly achored, <br />Grittner moved, seconded by Nestingen, to approve the accessory use as <br />• requested. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Black presented a January 11, 1987 memorandum (on file in the off ice of <br />the Clerk Administrator) from the Biking/Hiking Advisory Committee. <br />After a discussion concerning the need to look at all options, the proposed <br />route, and necessary budget for engineering and legal fees, Northrop and <br />Black volunteered to be members of .the Committee. The goal of the <br />Committee should be to develop a charter and present a unified position <br />to the City Council. <br />The City Council requested one volunteer to serve on the Cable TV Access <br />Committee from the Planning Commission. Council Liaison Wallin briefed <br />Planning Commission members on the role and duties this volunteer would <br />have.
