8. FEASIBILITY AND RECOMMENDATION <br />The 147th Street and Oneka Lake Boulevard Street Improvement Project consists of pavement <br />improvements, curb installation, minor utility repairs, and drainage improvements. <br />Improvements included for consideration also include the addition of a trail and boulevard on the <br />north side of 147th Street and Oneka Lake Boulevard. The cost of the street and trail <br />improvement project, depending on the roadway width selected, is estimated at $1,388,000 — <br />$1,449,000. <br />Based on the information contained within this report, the proposed improvements as described <br />are necessary, cost-effective, and feasible from an engineering perspective. WSB & Associates, <br />Inc. recommends construction of the proposed improvements as detailed in this report.
