4. Update on Fable Hill Park <br />Parks Planner, Shayla Denaway updated on the meeting held with the Fable Hills Homeowners Association <br />board representatives and informed of a drafted agreement accepting their $20,000 donation. City Attorney <br />Dave Snyder is reviewing the document. <br />Pontrelli made a motion, Tennyson seconded to approve $50,000 for the cost of the playground and to <br />approve the draft memorandum of understanding agreement with Fable Hill Homeowner Association for the <br />Fable Hill Park improvements. <br />All Aye. Motion Carried. <br />5. Review of the Trail Plan <br />Parks Planner, Shayla Denaway reviewed the trails portion of the Parks, Trails, and Open Space Plan. <br />Discussion included: Greenway corridors, future trails, regional collaboration, public support, <br />bicycle/pedestrian lanes, connectivity, types of trails and trail uses, and implementation. <br />6. Presentation of WBLA'S Senior Survey <br />Parks Planner, Shayla Denaway updated on the Morris Leatherman senior survey results. A community <br />forum was held on February 10 and staff provided an update. The next steps are to create action groups to <br />analyze the survey results and develop goals for how to use the information. <br />Tennyson encouraged advertising recreation programs with photos showing that programs are held for <br />seniors and not just youth. <br />7. Other <br />Scott Anderson, Public Works Director provided an update on the City Council's goal setting workshop and <br />that a workshop will be held to discuss Lions Park. <br />City staff was directed to coordinate communications on determining meeting dates to help plan this event. <br />8. Adjournment <br />Schmid made a motion, Tennyson seconded to adjourn the meeting at 8:51. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />
