MINUTES FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING ON MONDAY, JANUARY 7, 2013 Oath of Office - Tom Weidt, Mayor; Phil Klein, Council Ward 2; and Tony Bronk, Council at Large On November 6, 2012 the City of Hugo held its municipal elections with races for Mayor, Council Member Ward 2, and Council Member at Large. Tom Weidt was elected as Mayor of the City of Hugo, Phil Klein was successful in the reelection of Councilmember Ward 2, and Tony Bronk was elected as Councilmember at Large. The Oath of Office was administered by former Mayor Fran Miron and City Clerk Michele Lindau, who accepted and notarized the signed oaths. Call to Order Mayor Weidt called the meeting to order at 7:09 p.m. PRESENT: Bronk, Klein, Petryk, Weidt ABSENT: Haas ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Bryan Bear, City Attorney Dave Snyder, City Engineer Jay Kennedy, Finance Director Ron Otkin, Accounting Clerk Anna Wobse, Planner Rachel Juba, Parks Planner Shayla Syverson, Intern Liz Hanson, and City Clerk Michele Lindau Video Conferencing - Haas City Administrator Bryan Bear informed Council that Council Member Haas was viewing the meeting via interactive television but will not be participating in discussion. Approval of Minutes for December 13, 2012 Meet the County Commissioner Event Klein made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the minutes for the Meet the County Commissioner Event on December 13, 2012 at the Blue Heron Grill, as presented. All Ayes. Motion carried. Approval of Minutes for December 14, 2012 Sea of Goodwill Award Presentation Petryk made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the minutes for the Sea of Goodwill Award Presentation on December 14, 2012 at Hugo City Hall, as presented. All Ayes. Motion carried. Approval of Minutes for December 17, 2012 Council Meeting Klein made motion, Bronk seconded, to approve the minutes for the Council Meeting on December 17, 2012 as presented. All Ayes. Motion carried.
