MINUTES FOR NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING WITH RESIDENTS IN THE
LAKE AIRBALD EAGLE ESTATES NEIGHBORHOOD
PROPOSED STREET INPROVEMENT PROJECT
FEBRUARY 8,2012,6:30 TO 8:00 PM
HUGO CITY HALL
Present: Council Members Petryk, Klein, and Weidt
Absent: Council Member Haas and Mayor Miron
Others Present: Senior Engineering Technician Steve Duff and Diane Hankee WSB and
Associates Municipal Engineer
The City held an informal neighborhood meeting to discuss with the residents a proposed
street reconstruction project in their neighborhood. The project is proposed to be a street
reconstruction only project with minimal ditch grading. Plan sheets of the neighborhood
were available to residents for comment. Typical road sections were shown, and a
proposed construction schedule was discussed for late May or early June. Residents were
concerned about getting in and out during construction.
Steve Duff explained residents would have access to their driveways every evening at the
end of the contractors working day and access out in the morning prior to the contractor
starting work 7:00 am. Access during the day would be limited and would depend on
were the contractor was working. Residents were told that garbage service would be the
same, and they would need to have their garbage and recycling contains out before 7:00
a.m. on garbage day. Temporary mail boxes will be installed in a location determined by
the post office.
Meeting adjourned 8:10 p.m.
Respectfully Submitted,
Steve Duff
Senior Engineering Technician
