Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for March 19, 2012 <br />Page 6 of 6 <br />Set Joint Meeting with the Rice Creek Watershed District (RCWD) for April 25t—h or May 9tb <br />At its March 5, 2012 meeting, Council directed staff to schedule a meeting with the RCWD to <br />discuss several issues including Hugo's Stormwater CIP, Oneka Ridge Water Reuse Project, <br />maintenance on the Bald Eagle Lake Outlet under 1291h Street, and JD2 Minor Ditch maintenance. <br />The RCWD Board met on March 12, 2012, and suggested the meeting right after their regular <br />board meeting, at approximately 11:00 a.m. on April 25 or May 9, 2012. <br />Weidt made motion, Haas seconded, to schedule the meeting with the Rice Creek Watershed <br />District for April 25, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at a location to be determined. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Update on Recreation Programs Scheduled for Spring/Summer 2012 <br />At its March 14, 2012 meeting, the Hugo Parks and Recreation Commission discussed the <br />proposed programs scheduled for spring and summer of 2012. Parks Planner Shayla Syverson <br />provided Council with a list of the programs that include movie nights, Kidz -n -Biz, Park Play <br />Days, LAIR Skate Camp, Tour `d Hugo, Skyhawks Sports Camps, and Geocaching. Information <br />will be available on the website and in the City Newsletter. <br />Update on the Yellow Ribbon Network and Sea of Goodwill Award Presentation on March <br />22,2012 <br />Council Members Chuck Haas and Phil Klein updated the Council on the activities of the Yellow <br />Ribbon Network to date. A care packaging event will take place on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 8 <br />a.m. at Hugo City Hall as part of Operation Military Pride. Volunteers are needed. The next <br />Hamburger Night is Wednesday, March 28, 2012 and will be sponsored by Gretchen Boyd, owner <br />of of Boyd Promotions and president of the Hugo Business Association. A meeting of the Council <br />has also been scheduled for March 22, 2012 to allow Council attendance at the National Sea of <br />Goodwill Award reception and presentation to be held at the Washington County Historic Court <br />House. The reception begins at 4:30 p.m. with the presentation of award at 5:30 p.m. <br />Adjournment <br />Weidt made motion, Haas seconded, to adjourn at 9:26 p.m. <br />All Ayes.
