Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for August 20, 2012 <br />Page 2 of 7 <br />Approval of the Consent Agenda <br />Haas made motion, Weidt seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda items: <br />Approval of Claims <br />Approve Resolution Approving Site Plan and Final Plat/Development Agreement for <br />Frenchman Place 2nd Addition <br />Approve Termination of Lease Agreement with Nextel for Water Tower Cellular Equipment <br />Approve Quote for 2012 Paving Project in Victor Gardens North Village 5th Addition <br />Approve Revised Scheduling for the 145th Street Sidewalk Project <br />Approve Resolution Ratifying Overnight Loan <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Approval of Claims <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Claims Roster as presented. <br />Approve Resolution Approving Site Plan and Final Plat/Development Agreement for <br />Frenchman Place 2nd Addition <br />Len Pratt applied for site plan approval for a 12,381 square foot medical office building on <br />property directly east of the Blue Heron Grill. Staff included in the resolution conditions they <br />felt must be met by the applicant to ensure compliance with City standards. At its Thursday, <br />August 9, 2012 meeting, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the site plan with <br />the conditions stated in the resolution. The request also includes a final plat to plat the property <br />into a new lot for the medical office building, two outlots for future development and <br />construction of a new private drive connecting CSAH 8 to the Victor Gardens North Village <br />(Festival Foods/Blue Heron) private drive. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved <br />RESOLUTION 2012-24 APPROVING A FINAL PLAT AND DEVELOPMENT <br />AGREEMENT ON PROPERTY LOCATED NORTH OF FRENCHMAN ROAD (COUNTY <br />ROAD 8) AND WEST OF EVERTON AVENUE and RESOLUTION 2012-25 APPROVING <br />A SITE PLAN FOR A MEDICAL OFFICE BUILDING ON LOT 1, BLOCK 1, FRENCHMAN <br />PLACE 2ND ADDITION ON PROPERTY LOCATED NORTH OF FRENCHMAN ROAD <br />(COUNTY ROAD 8) AND WEST OF EVERTON AVENUE. <br />Developer Len Pratt was present, and he talked about the improving market conditions. <br />Approve Termination of Lease Agreement with Nextel for Water Tower Cellular <br />Equipment <br />For the past five years, the City has leased space on the south water tower to Nextel for cellular <br />communications equipment. The lease included optional renewal terms every five years. Nextel <br />has exercised their right to terminate the lease because the equipment is outdated and <br />
