MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 14, 2009 <br />INTERVIEWS FOR PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Mayor Miron called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />Present: Haas, Klein, Petryk, Weidt, Miron <br />Absent: None <br />Others Present: Community Development Director Bryan Bear, Planning Commision <br />Chair Dave Schumann <br />The purpose of the meeting was to interview applicants for vacancies on the Planning <br />Commission caused by the resignations of Doug Galler and Greg Burmeister, who have <br />both moved out of the City of Hugo. There were three applicants for the position. <br />The Council conducted oral interviews with Rick Gwynn and Scott Arcand who were <br />present, and Rebecca Neamy via a conference call. <br />After discussion, Council agreed there were three very qualified applicants and chose <br />Rick Gwynn and Scott Arcand to fill the vacant seats on the Planning Commission. This <br />will be added to the agenda for the next regularly scheduled Council meeting on <br />September 21, 2009 for formal appointment to the Planning Commission. <br />Council adjourned at 9:15 p.m. <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />Bryan Bear <br />Community Development Director <br />
