RESOLUTION 2008 - 5 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO <br />RELATING TO ADOPTING DATA PRACTICES COMPLIANCE OFFICIAL <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 13.05 Subd. 13 require that the City <br />appoint a City employee to act as its data practices compliance official to receive <br />questions or concerns regarding problems in obtaining access to data or other data <br />practices problems within the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council shares the concern expressed by the Legislature <br />about access to City data and wishes to satisfy this concern by appointing a qualified data <br />practices compliance official as required under statute. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council appoints Michele <br />Lindau as the data practices responsible authority compliance official to receive questions <br />and concerns regarding problems in obtaining access to data and supervise data practices <br />issues. Any previously appointed data practices officials shall no longer serve from and <br />after the date hereof. <br />WHEREUPON, a vote being taken upon the motion, the following members voted in favor: <br />The following voted against: <br />ADOPTED by the City Council this 4th day of February, 2008. <br />r.,11WeW- <br />ATTEST: <br />Michele Lindau, City Clerk <br />
