r <br />RESOLUTION 2008-31 <br />A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE FEASIBILITY REPORT, ORDERING <br />IMPROVEMENT, AND ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE FONDANT AVE., FOXHILL AVE., FRANCESCA AVE., <br />FREELAND AVE., GENEVA AVE., LOWER 147TH STREET N., 148TH STREET N., <br />150TH STREET N., ROADWAY, DRAINAGE, AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, a Resolution adopted by the City Council on October 16, 2007, called for the <br />City's consultant City Engineer to prepare a feasibility study related to the <br />proposed Fondant Avenue, Foxhill Avenue, Francesca Avenue, Freeland Avenue, <br />Geneva Avenue, Lower 147th Street North, 148th Street North, and 150th Street <br />North roadway, drainage, and utility improvements. The nature of the <br />improvements include complete roadway reconstruction, sidewalks, storm <br />drainage, sanitary sewer repair/replacement, sanitary sewer lift station, watermam <br />repair/replacement, and appurtenant work; <br />WHEREAS, such feasibility report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost- <br />effective and feasible and has been prepared for the June 16, 2008, regular City <br />Council meeting; <br />WHEREAS, a motion of the City Council adopted May 19, 2008 fixed a date for a Public <br />Hearing on the proposed improvements to be held on June 16, 2008; <br />WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was given, <br />and the hearing was held thereon on the 16th day of June, 2008, at which time all <br />persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon, and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HUGO, <br />MINNESOTA: <br />1. Said feasibility report is hereby received and approved by the City Council of Hugo. The <br />project is necessary, cost-effective and feasible as set forth herein. <br />2. Such improvement is hereby ordered as outlined in the feasibility report adopted the 16th day <br />of June, 2008 <br />3. WSB & Associates is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. The engineer <br />shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. <br />4. The City Council declares its intent to reimburse itself for the costs of the improvement from <br />funds on hand or bond proceeds. <br />Whereupon said resolution was moved for adoption by Mayor Miron and duly <br />seconded by Council Member Petryk <br />
