RESOLUTION 2008-57 RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING FRANK PULEO FOR HIS ELEVEN YEARS OF DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE ON THE PLANNING COMMISSION & CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA WHEREAS, Frank Puleo served on the Planning Commission from December 17, 1997 to December 31, 2000, and as Chairman on the Planning Commission from March 1999 to December 31, 2000; and, WHEREAS, Frank Puleo served on the Board of Zoning Appeals and Adjustments from 1999 to December 31, 2008; and, WHEREAS, Frank Puleo was elected to the Hugo City Council in 2000 as a new Councihnember and served from January 1, 2001 to December 31, 2008; and, WHEREAS, Frank Puleo was instrumental in the development and creation of the Public Works Department, Historical Commission, Economic Development Authority, Rice Lake Park Athletic Complex; and, WHEREAS, Frank Puleo worked as an active and involved councilmember in accomplishing many significant public and development projects including: new city hall; new public works facility; fire department trucks; water tower and wells; 16 new neighborhoods; many new parks and miles of trails; attraction of many new businesses; CSAR 8/14 project; TH61 street improvements; improvements to Judicial Ditch #2; and, WHEREAS, Frank Puleo volunteered and served on many important Council committees to improve quality of life issues, improve city ordinances, and plan for the thousands of new residents and businesses; and, WHEREAS, Frank Puleo, upon his retirement, will be deeply missed by the City Council, Hugo City Staff, and members of the Community; and, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, that the Hugo City Council officially recognizes Frank Puleo for his accomplishments and publicly thanks him for his eleven years of dedicated public service to the City of Hugo.
