RESOLUTION 2006 - 3 <br />A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO, <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, REQUESTING THAT A HEARING BE <br />CONDUCTED BY THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL'S LAND USE ADVISORY <br />COMMITTEE AND THE STATE OFFICE OF ADMINISTRATIVE HEARINGS <br />FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING AMENDMENTS TO THE <br />METROPLITAN COUNCIL'S SYSTEM STATEMENT <br />WHEREAS, the City has received a "system statement" from the Metropolitan Council <br />on September 14, 2005; and <br />WHEREAS, the system statement includes forecasts for housing units, population, <br />employment, and sewer flow for the purposes of preparing amendments to the City's <br />Comprehensive Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the City and the Metropolitan Council have 60 days following receipt of the <br />system statement to resolve any differences between the City and the Metropolitan <br />Council related to the system statement.; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution 2005-61 on November 7, 2005 <br />appealing the system statement; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has received from the Metropolitan Council amendments to the <br />system statement that address the City's objections; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does withdraw its appeal <br />of the system statement authorized by Resolution 2005-61. <br />Adopted and passed this 3rd day of January 2006. <br />fig <br />ATTEST: <br />Mary reager, City Cler <br />
