RESOLUTION 2004 — 01 <br />RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THEODORA PELTIER <br />FOR HER MANY YEARS OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA <br />WHEREAS, Theodora Peltier was first hired as the Town Clerk by the Oneka <br />Township Board in 1959; and <br />WHEREAS, Theodora Peltier was instrumental in the merger of Oneka <br />Township and the Village of Hugo in 1972, later serving for many <br />years as a Council member and Planning Commissioner•, and <br />WHEREAS, Theodora Peltier has been a volunteer, member of the PTA, and a <br />community leader, who has been involved in many projects, which <br />have improved the City; and <br />WHEREAS, Theodora Peltier has submitted her letter of resignation effective <br />December 31, 2003, and will be deeply missed by the Planning <br />Commission, City Council, and City staff, <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Hugo City Council officially <br />recognizes Theodora Peltier for 44 years of dedicated public service, and publicly thank <br />her for her civic mindedness and volunteerism to the City of Hugo. <br />Adopted this 5a' day of January 2004 by order of the Hugo City Council. <br />ATTEST: <br />Mary Creager <br />City Wrk <br />r <br />Fran n, Mayor <br />Mayor <br />
