RESOLUTION 2004 — 7 <br />RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING ROBYN LACASSE <br />FOR HER SIX YEARS OF VOLUNTEERISM AND PUBLIC <br />SERVICE ON THE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br />CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA <br />WHEREAS, Robyn LaCasse served on the Parks and Recreation Commission <br />from July 20, 1998 to March 31, 2004; and <br />WHEREAS, Robyn LaCasse was appointed Chair on January 3, 2000, and <br />served in that leadership role until her term expired; and <br />WHEREAS, Robyn LaCasse served as participative leader involving Parks <br />Commissioners and the public alike in significant parks projects; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Robyn LaCasse was instrumental in the creation of the City's first <br />ever Parks and Recreation Commission which accomplished a <br />multitude of projects like the Parks Master Plan, Lions Park <br />Playground equipment, Beaver Ponds soccer field, Bernin Park, <br />Oneka Ponds Park, a variety of bituminous trails throughout the <br />community, a variety of public/private parks in Victor Gardens, <br />and establishment of the Neighborhood Block Program; and <br />WHEREAS, Robyn LaCasse has submitted her letter of resignation effective <br />March 31, 2004, and will be deeply missed by the Parks and <br />Recreation Commission for her volunteerism, City Council, and <br />City Staff; and <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Hugo City Council officially <br />recognizes Robyn LaCasse for her volunteerism and publicly thank her for her six years <br />of dedicated public service to the City of Hugo. <br />Adopted this 1st day of March 2004 by order of the Hugo City Council. <br />ATTEST: <br />� 4� <br />Mary P# Creager <br />City 06rk <br />.1 <br />F Mayor <br />Mayor <br />
