OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA
HELD: JUNE 21, 2004
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular or special meeting of the City Council
of the City of Hugo, Minnesota, was held at the Hugo City Hall on June 21, 2004, commencing
at 7:00 p.m. .
The following members of the Council were present: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo,
Miron
and the following were absent: NONE
Mayor Fran Miron introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 2004-48
RESOLUTION CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON MODIFYING THE
ENABLING RESOLUTION WHICH ESTABLISHED THE ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF HUGO
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hugo, Minnesota, as
follows:
1. Recitals.
(a) The City on June 15, 1998 adopted an enabling resolution which
established the Economic Development Authority of the City of Hugo (the "EDA").
(b) The City is authorized pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.090
through 469.1082, to at any time modify the enabling resolution which established the
EDA.
(c) The Council desires to modify the enabling resolution establishing the
EDA.
2. Public Hearing. The Council shall hold a public hearing on the modification of
the enabling resolution and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of
that public hearing, substantially in the form attached to and made a part of this Resolution, to be
published in the City's official newspaper once a week for two consecutive weeks prior to the
scheduled public hearing date, with the first publication occurring no earlier than 30 days prior to
the public hearing date.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Frank Puleo and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof:
Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron
and the following voted against the same: NONE
whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted and was signed by the Mayor
and City Clerk.
