CITY OF HUGO <br />RESOLUTION 2002 - 61 <br />APPROVING A SITE PLAN AND VARIANCE FOR THE AMERICAN LEGION <br />POST 620 AND THE CITY OF HUGO FOR PROPERTY LOCATED NORTH OF <br />140TH STREET AND WEST OF HIGHWAY 61. <br />WHEREAS, The American Legion Post 620 and the City of Hugo have requested <br />approval of a site plan and variance to allow construction of a 7,500 square foot Private <br />Club on property legally described as follows: <br />Lot 2, Block 1, Bald Eagle Industrial Park 2nd Addition <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said site plan and variance at a duly <br />called public meeting and recommends approval of the site plan and variance, and; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the site <br />plan and variance for the American Legion Post 620 and the City of Hugo on property <br />located north of 140' Street and west of Highway 61, subject to the following conditions: <br />1. A site plan is approved to allow construction of a 7,500 square foot building in <br />accordance with the plans and application received by the City on October 14, 2002, <br />except as amended by this resolution. <br />2. A variance is approved to allow a 10 -foot side yard setback along the west property <br />line in accordance with the plans received by the City on October 14, 2002. <br />3. The exterior trash enclosure shall be constructed of materials that match the exterior <br />finish of the building. <br />4. Approval of the site plan is subject to the construction of additional parking on either <br />the Rick's Liquor or Fire Hall property. <br />ADOPTED by the City Council this 4th day of November 2002. <br />x <br />F on, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Mary Creager, City Cler <br />
