RESOLUTION 1998-34 <br />A RESOLUTION REDUCING THE ASSESSMENT ROLL <br />FOR THE FENWAY AVENUE PX PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, on May 4, 1998, the Council adopted a resolution levying assessments on <br />benefiting property for the improvement of Fenway Avenue, between 140th and 142nd <br />Streets; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has received bids on the proposed improvement to the street, and <br />such bids were lower than estimated cost of the project at the time of the levying <br />assessments; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council, on the City Engineer's recommendation, directed the proposed <br />extension of sanitary sewer main be eliminated from the project, as another, more cost- <br />effective mechanism of serving the area with such service is becoming available, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF HUGO, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The assessments for the 1998 Fenway Avenue Public Improvement Project be lowered <br />to the amounts listed on the revised assessment roll dated October 10, 1998. <br />2. The City Clerk is to notify the property owners affected of the reduced amount of the <br />assessment made against their property. <br />3. The City finance director is to cause amended assessment roll to be filed with the <br />Washington County Auditor's Office to replace the roll previously recorded, and under the <br />same terms and conditions as the previous assessment. <br />Upon roll call, members voting AYE: Warren Arcand, Andrew Goiffon, James Leroux, <br />Fran Mron <br />Members voting NAY: None <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 19th day of October, <br />1998. <br />Fran ' n, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />MaryCreager, City Cl <br />
