RESOLUTION 93-13 <br />RESOLUTION THANKING SCOUT TROOP #151 FOR PLANTING TREES <br />IN THE CITY'S MUNICIPAL PARK <br />WHEREAS, Cub Scout Pack #151 provided s service to the community with <br />the planting of trees at the municipal park located at 147th Street and <br />Fitzgerald Avenue, and <br />WHEREAS, these trees provide improved appearance to the park, as well <br />as shade and comfort to residents using the park, and <br />WHEREAS, the project added to the City's sense of community through <br />the example provided by the scouts' unselfish efforts in seeking to <br />improve the recreational opportunities available to area residents; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO, <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, hereby commends Cub Scout Pack #151 for <br />their sense of civic spirit and concern for the environment, and <br />FURTHERMORE, the Council expresses their appreciation for the scouts' <br />efforts in making the community a more enjoyable place to live, work, and <br />play. <br />Upon roll call, members voting AYE: Debra Barnes, Bernard Brumotte, James <br />Leroux, Fran Miron, Walter Stoltzman <br />Voting NAY: NONE <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 4th day of <br />October, 1993. <br />Walter L.
