RESOLUTION 1992-10 <br />RESOLUTION REVIEWING SPEED LIMITS ON CERTAIN ROADS IN THE CITY OF HUGO. <br />WHEREAS, by RESOLUTION 1989-16, the Hugo City Council requested that the <br />Minnesota Department of Transportation (MND8T) review the speed limits of <br />certain roadways within the City of Hugo with the intent to reduce the <br />authorized speed limits on the roadways, and <br />WHEREAS, such reviews were conducted by MNDOT during 1990, and MNDQT found <br />that the reduction of the speed limit on Harrow Avenue, between 157th Gt. <br />and 165th St., to 45 miles per hour would be permissible pursuant to M.S. <br />Chapter 169.4 and all applicable subdivisions thereof, and <br />Whereas, the City Council desires to reduce such speed limit on Harrow <br />Avenue in order to protect the public safety; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO, <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, hereby requests that the Minnesota <br />Department of Transportation authorize a speed limit of 45 MPH on Harrow <br />Avenue between 157th St. and 165th St. in the City of Hugo. <br />Upon roll call council members voting AYE: Barnes, Brunotte, Leroux, <br />Miron, Stoltzman <br />Council members voting NAY: None <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 1st day of <br />June, 1992. <br />Walter L.
