RESOLUTION 1991-4 <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING WASHINGTON COUNTY TRAFFIC STUDY <br />WHEREAS, considerable development has occurred south of County Road 8A, <br />between Gmodview Avenue and Highway 61, and <br />WHEREAS, said development has resulted in an increase in traffic volumes <br />on County Road 8A in this area, and <br />WHEREAS, the meed for reduced speed limits and/or NO PARKING areas might <br />be warranted on County Road 0A; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO, <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA AS FOLLOW: <br />1. The City requests that the Washington County Engineering Department do <br />the necessary traffic study to determine if lower speed limits and no <br />parking areas are warranted. <br />2 Speed limits, within the area in question, be uniform with regard to <br />the direction traffic is traveling. <br />3. Washington County make the necessary changes in speed limits and <br />install related signing consistent with the traffic -study <br />recommendations. <br />Upon roll call, the following members voting AYE: Brunotte, Jesinski, <br />McAllister, Mirmn, Stoltzmoan <br />Voting NAY: NONE <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 6th day of <br />May, 1991. <br />Walter L.
