Subd.._15. Sick Leave. <br />A' Eligibility. Sick leave with pay shall be granted to <br />J. regular, part-tise employees who are regularly <br />scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week on a year <br />around basis at the rate of one working day for each <br />calendar month of full-time service or a'Ent jor fraction <br />thereof, with the latter on a pro -rata basis for actual <br />hours worked. <br />B. <br />AC- cLIMA lation: All regular employees will earn eight <br />(G) hours of sick leave with pay for each full MCN 'th <br />worked from date of hire. A total of 700 hours of sick <br />leave may be accrued by each employee. Sick leave <br />shall not accrue during any period of leave of absence <br />without pay. <br />C. Regular Part -Time Employees: Part-time regular <br />emplo/ees shall be credited with 30 hours sick leavo <br />annually and to be earned at the rate of 2.5 hours per <br />month. <br />D. ULilizat ion of Sick Leave: Sick leave wjtt 1 Fay is <br />i/itended to be utilized wnen a regular pz rrplovpe <br />entitled to sick leave is unable to perform his duties <br />by reason nf illness or injury beyond 1-1 .1 cor! 1:r0l, i? r, <br />+or (If nta:: or medical care of the rmployee, jf such <br />care is necessary and essential to the employee. lhs <br />emp�oyee shall notify his supervisor of abserce due to <br />illness or injury` and the nature and expected length <br />thereof, prior to the time sucemployee would <br />otherwise have reported to work, or as soon as <br />possible.
