RESOLUTION 88-37 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR INGERSOLL AVENUE P.I. <br />PROJECT #5-2-88(A). <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of <br />Ingersoll Avenue from County State Aid Highway #10 north approximately <br />3700 feet by the improvement of bituminous surfacing and related improve- <br />ments, bids were received., opened and tabulated according to law, and the <br />following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Valley Paving, Inc. $44,289 <br />Bituminous Materials, Inc. $49,835 <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Valley Paving. Inc., of Shakopee, Minnesota <br />is the lowest responsible bidder; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO., <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into <br />the attached contract with Valley Paving, Inc., of Shakopee, Minnesota, <br />in the name of City of Hugo, for improvement of Ingersoll Avenue from <br />County State Aid Highway #10 north approximately 3700 feet by the <br />improvement of bituminous surfacing and related improvements according to <br />the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on <br />file in the office of the clerk. <br />2. The city clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith <br />to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, accept that the deposits <br />of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained <br />until a contract has been signed. <br />Upon roll call the following members voted AYE: Robert Olson, Theodora <br />Peltier, Deane Vail., George Atkinson <br />Upon roll call the following members voted NAY: NONE <br />HUUrIMU AND PASSED THIS i TH DAY OF At <br />ATTEST: <br />Mary Creager, Cit <br />Jerk <br />
