r. <br />534561 <br />RESOLUTION 1987-31 <br />A RESOLUTION VACATING A ROADWAY EASEMENT AS PER PETITION <br />OF HOWARD SCHLETTY AND LYLE ZERWAS. <br />WHEREAS, there was presented to the City Council of the City <br />of Hugo, Washington County, Minnesota, a verified petition signed by <br />the following property owners: Theodora R. Peltier, Leona M Stachowiak, <br />Richard J. Stachowiak, Florence R. Rodrigue, Howard W. Schletty, <br />Ralph S. Schletty, Robert L. Schletty, Raymond J. Rogrigue, Ruth M. <br />Schletty, Lois M. Schletty, Sherri A. Schletty, Norine L. Beckman, <br />Brian Beckman, Diane K. Taggart, Michael Taggart, John S. Schletty, <br />Carol Jean Schletty, Eugene Paul Zerwas, Lyle D. Zerwa:, and Charlotte A. <br />Zerwas, requesting the vacation of the roadway easement described <br />herein, and; <br />WHEREAS, the City Council having deemed it expedient that the <br />matter of said petition be filed with its City Clerk, and that a hearing <br />thereon be held in the Council chambers of the City Hall on March 2, <br />1987, at 7:00 PM, and that the City Clerk give notice of hearing as <br />provided in Minnesota State, and: <br />WHEREAS, the City Council being satisfied that due notice of <br />said hearing has been given as provided by law, and after due investigation <br />and consideration of said petition and the testimony adduced in support <br />thereof, there being no appearance and opposition thereto, and being <br />satisfied that said petition should be granted; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of <br />Hugo, Washington County, Minnesota, that the following described roadway <br />`easement be in hereby is vacated and discontinued to -wit: A strip of land <br />sixty (60) feet in width, the centerline of which is described as follows, <br />vis; Beginning at a point on the South line of the Northeast Quarter of <br />the Northwest Quarter (NE4 of NW4) of Section Twenty-eight (28), Township <br />Thrity-one (31) North, Range Twenty-one (21) West 648.4 feet west of the <br />Southeast corner of said tract, running thence North and parallel with <br />the east line of said tract 416.4 feet. <br />
