RESOLUTION lff6-6 AMENDING RESOLUTION 1986-5 The City Council of the City of Hugo, Washington County, Minnesota, hereby resolves IResolution 1986-5 accepted and passed on the 21st day of April, 1986, should be amended to read as follows: WHEREAS, the city council has heretofore determined in a Motion passed on May 7, 1984, that the city should open a drainage way and maintain the level of Oneka Lake; WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore in Motions passed on December 3, 1984, May 22, 1985, June 17, 1985, July 15, 1985, March 17, 1985, and March 31, 1985, authorized City officials and employees to acquire through negotiation or condemnation property or property interests necessary to open a drainage way and maintain the level of Oneka Lake; WHEREAS, the public need and public purpose for the aforementioned project was further discussed at the City Council Meeting on May 2, 1984, October 15, 1984, April 11, 1985, and May 19, 1986; WHEREAS, the City Council as a result of the aforementioned Motions and discussions has determined that the City of Hugo should construct a water control structure as a means of regulating the level of Oneka Lake in an effort to lower the level of Oneka Lake to its ordinary high water mark. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, HEREBY RESOLVES, 1. Acquisition by the City of the following described property is necessary for the purpose of constructing a water control structure and drainage way.
