RESOLUTION lff6-6 AMENDING RESOLUTION 1986-5 <br />The City Council of the City of Hugo, Washington County, <br />Minnesota, hereby resolves IResolution 1986-5 accepted and passed on <br />the 21st day of April, 1986, should be amended to read as follows: <br />WHEREAS, the city council has heretofore determined in a Motion <br />passed on May 7, 1984, that the city should open a drainage way and <br />maintain the level of Oneka Lake; <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore in Motions passed on <br />December 3, 1984, May 22, 1985, June 17, 1985, July 15, 1985, March <br />17, 1985, and March 31, 1985, authorized City officials and <br />employees to acquire through negotiation or condemnation property or <br />property interests necessary to open a drainage way and maintain the <br />level of Oneka Lake; <br />WHEREAS, the public need and public purpose for the <br />aforementioned project was further discussed at the City Council <br />Meeting on May 2, 1984, October 15, 1984, April 11, 1985, and <br />May 19, 1986; <br />WHEREAS, the City Council as a result of the aforementioned <br />Motions and discussions has determined that the City of Hugo should <br />construct a water control structure as a means of regulating the <br />level of Oneka Lake in an effort to lower the level of Oneka Lake to <br />its ordinary high water mark. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, <br />HEREBY RESOLVES, <br />1. Acquisition by the City of the following described property <br />is necessary for the purpose of constructing a water control <br />structure and drainage way. <br />
