RESOLUTION N0, 1979-48 Of The - C_- of HuaoWashington County, Minnesota A RESOLUTION OF THE GOVERNING BODY AMENDING THE ORIGINAL GRANT AGREEMENT FOR 1976-77 AND REQUESTING AND AMMRIZING THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL TO APPROVE THE AWARD OF THE 1978-79 LOCAL PLANNING ASSISSTANCE GRANT FUNDS AS PER THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL ADOPTED GUINES FOR THE APPLICATION, AWARD AND DISBURSEMENT OF SAID FUNDS AS ABTHORIZED BY PROVISIONS OF THE METROPOLITAN LAND PLANNING ACT ADOPTED BY THE STATE LEGISLATURE. The City aduncil of Hugo_ Washington _ , County, Minnesota determines that: WHEREAS, the State Legislature and the Metropolitan Council have made oertain local planning assistance -planning funds (grant-in-aid) available; and WHEREAS, it is mandatory that the City f , Hugo do planning as per provisions of the Metropolitan Land Planning Act; and WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has provided Guidelines for the Administration of Planning Assistance Grants; and WHK1EAS, the Cites of Hugo has incurred and will continue to incur various planning expenses as required by State Statutes; and WHEREAS financial assistance is needed to properly plan for the future :mrironment of our community in the general public interest. NOW ARE HE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: (1) The City gouno it of aggo requests that the Metropolitan Council provide the planning assistance funds as allocated and authorized amending the original grant agreement for 1976-77 and approving the award of the 1978-79 local plaiming.assistance grant funds. (2) On passage and adoption, the City Clerk shall be directed to forward a copy of this Resolution to the Washington County Planning Department, and the Chairman of the Metropolitan Council prior to July 30, 1979.
