RESOLUTION 1974-2 <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a rpg3ila r meeting of the <br />City Council of the City of Hugo, Minnesota, was held at the City Hall in <br />said City on mo,a,,,--, Jul,- 7th 1974, at 7.00 o'clock P.M., <br />with the following members present: Crever, LaValle, Leroux, Lease <br />and the following members absent: Bjorum <br />Howard A. Kuusisto, Consulting Engineer, then presented detailed plans <br />and specifications for construction of Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. 1973-1. <br />After such plans were thoroughly examined and discussed, member LaValle <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND CALLING FOR <br />CONSTRUCTION BIDS ON SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT NO. 1973-1. <br />BE IT RESOLVED By the City Council of the City of Hugo, Minnesota, as <br />follows: <br />(1) The detailed plans and specifications heretofore prepared by Howard <br />A. Kuusisto for construction of Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. 1973-1 <br />are hereby approved and ordered filed. <br />(2) This Council shall meet on Monday, February 4, 1974, at 1:0 0 o'clock <br />P.M., at the City Hall in the City of Hugo, Minnesota, for the purpose <br />of receiving and considering sealed bids for the construction of said improve- <br />ment, and the Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of said <br />meeting to be published in the official newspaper and in the Construction <br />Bulletin, once at least three weeks prior to the date of said meeting, which <br />notice shall specify the time and place of the meeting, the nature of the work, <br />that sealed bids for said work must be received by the City Clerk prior to the <br />time of said meeting, accompanied by a cashier's or certified check or bid bond <br />in the amount of at least 5% of the respective bids, that the Council reserves <br />the right to hold such bids for a period of 40 days without award and the right <br />to reject any and all bids without explanation and to waive any informalities. <br />
