RESOLUTION 1974-8 <br />The City Council of the City of Hugo, Washington County, <br />Minnesota, has determined that: <br />WHEREAS, the streets and roads and public ways will be <br />seriously damaged or destroyed by reason of climatic conditions <br />unless the usage of vehicles thereon is prohibited or permissible <br />weight thereof reduced, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the streets, roads, <br />and public ways within the City of Hugo shall be limited to 3 tons <br />gross weight,or such higher weight limit determined by the City <br />Engineer, and that said load limitation shall extend from the date <br />hereof until may 15, 1974; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Engineer be authorized to <br />have posted said streets, roads, and public ways as required for <br />giving notice of said weight limitations; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the load limits hereby set <br />forth are not applicable to emergency vehicles; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that variations from the load <br />limits established can be granted by the City Council for hardship <br />cases involving the public health and welfare. <br />Adopted and passed this lst day of April, 1974. <br />Connie Crever, Mayor <br />Attest: <br />Robert E.
