MINUTES FOR THE JOINT COUNCIL/ PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING OF <br />MARCH 26, 2007 <br />Acting Mayor Becky Petryk called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. <br />COUNCIL: <br />PRESENT: Frank Puleo, Fran Miron, and Becky Petryk <br />ABSENT: Mike Granger and Chuck Haas <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: <br />PRESENT: Bob Rosenquist and Tom Weidt <br />ABSENT: Kelly Bailly, Bronwen Kleissler, Ron McRoberts, Adam Moore, and Dave Schumann <br />City Administrator Mike Ericson, CD Director Bryan Bear, Associate Planner Rachel Simone <br />DISCUSSION ON RECREATIONAL EQUIPMENT STORAGE PROPOSED ORDINANCE <br />The CD Director introduced of the code enforcement subcommittee members to the public <br />and gave background on what the committee has been working on over the past several <br />months. The Associate Planner gave a presentation on the proposed ordinance to explain how <br />it would impact property owners. <br />There were seventeen people that spoke at the public workshop in opposition on the proposed <br />ordinance. The public seemed to think that the ordinance was too restrictive. Most thought <br />that the ordinance should not be considered or needed to be changed to be less restrictive. <br />Staff was advised to bring the proposed ordinance back to the subcommittee for discussion in <br />regards to the comments made at the public workshop. Three residents volunteered to serve <br />on the subcommittee. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />COUNCIL: <br />Petryk made a motion, Puleo seconded to adjourn the City Council meeting at 9:00 pm. <br />All aye.
