MINUTES FOR THE SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING OF APRIL 18, 2005 TO <br />DISCUSS EASEMENT ACQUISITIONS FOR CSAH 8/14 PROJECT <br />Mayor Frank Miron called the meeting to order at 10:35 am. <br />PRESENT: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron <br />City Administrator Mike Ericson, City Attorney Dave Snyder, City Engineer Jay Kennedy, CD <br />Director Bryan Bear, and Administrative Intern Tom Denaway <br />City Attorney Dave Snyder explained that the purpose of the meeting was to review appraisal <br />data related to the CSAH 8/14 project. <br />Haas made motion, Granger seconded, to go into executive session. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Dave explained the City has just received applications from Washington County for securing <br />and extending offers to property owners for right-of-way easements. There is a 30 -day offer <br />period after wherein a 90 -day quick take under the eminent domain statute. Jay presented a <br />map with locations of right-of-way and easements and ponds. <br />Council member Granger left the meeting at 11:24 am. <br />City Attorney Dave Snyder stated for the record that Council agreed with the appraisal <br />numbers from the county and purchase offers will be made to the two property owners. <br />Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to adjourn the special meeting at 11:59 am. <br />All aye.
