MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF JANUARY 7, 2002 Mayor Fran Miron called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. PRESENT: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron City Administrator, Michael Ericson CD Director, John Rask City Attorney, Dave Snyder City Engineer, Dave Mitchell City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager CITY COUNCIL MINUTES FOR DECEMBER 17.2001 Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the minutes for the City Council meeting of December 17, 2001 as presented. All aye. Motion Carried. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Table city fee schedule discussion until the meeting of January 22, 2002 Add L.2 — Oneka Lake Driveway Letter Add K.1— Bever Landscaping Complaint (132"d Street) Add K.2 — Goal Settings Session Miron made motion, Haas seconded, to set the agenda for January 7, 2002 with changes. All aye. Motion Carried. GFOA CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT AWARD (RON OTKINI The Government Finance Officers Association has awarded the certificate of achievement for excellence in financial reporting to the City of Hugo and its Finance Director Ron Otkin. The certificate of achievement award is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting. The GFOA is a nonprofit professional association serving approximately 14,000 government finance professionals in the US and Canada. On behalf of the Hugo City Council, Mayor Fran Miron made a formal presentation of the GFOA certificate of achievement plaque to Ron, and recognized Ron for his outstanding work in financial accounting.
