MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF NOVEMBER 4.2002 <br />Mayor Fran Miron opened the meeting at 7:00 pm. <br />PRESENT: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Miron <br />City Administrator, Michael Ericson <br />CD Director, John Rask <br />City Attorney, Dave Snyder <br />City Engineer, Dave Mitchell <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />ABSENT: Frank Puleo <br />MOMENT OF SILENCE IN REMEMBRANCE OF SENATOR PAUL WELLSTONE <br />Mayor Fran Miron called for a moment of silence in respect for, and in remembrance of, Senator Paul <br />Wellstone, his family members, and staff. <br />MINUTES FOR CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF OCTOBER 14.2002 <br />Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the minutes for the City Council meeting of October 14, <br />2002 as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Add G.3 — Accept Donation for the Hugo Fire Department <br />Add HA — Resolution of Cooperative Agreement w/MNDOT for Signalization of TH61 and 1400 St. <br />Add L.1— Announce Groundbreaking for Hugo American Legion 620 <br />Add MA - Discussion on 11/6/02 Budget Meeting <br />Haas made motion, Granger seconded, to approve the agenda November 4, 2002 as amended. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />PRESENTATION OF CITY HALL FLAG (AMERICAN LEGION POST 6201 <br />Anderson Electric completed the installation of an exterior light for the City Hall flagpole four weeks <br />ago. That light was necessary in order for staff to install an American flag to fly over the new Hugo City <br />Hall 24 -hours a day. Legion Post 620 Commander John Thomas and Vice Commander Phil Kamman <br />presented a new American flag to the Hugo City Council and the City of Hugo in honor of the patriotic <br />
