MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF JANUARY 24.2001 <br />Mayor Fran Miron called the joint meeting with the Planning Commission to order at 7:54 pm. <br />PRESENT: Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron <br />Community Development Director, John Rask <br />Deputy Clerk, Michele <br />City Engineer, Dave Mitchell <br />Water Resource Engineer, Pete Willenbring <br />ABSENT: Mike Granger <br />Browns Creek Watershed District Presentation <br />The City Council attended the regular meeting of the Planning Commission to hear a presentation of the <br />Brown's Creek Watershed District (BCWD) on their Second Generation Plan. <br />Giving the presentation were: Camilla Correll, BCWD Engineer; Karen Kilberg, BCWD Vice -President; <br />Julie Westerlin, Department of Natural Resources Watershed Coordinator; and Torey Dupre, representative <br />for'the Metropolitan Council. They were seeking to identify the key issues addressed in the plan that affect <br />Hugo, and to develop a cooperative relationship with all affected local units of government so that the <br />management of water resources can be accomplished in a collaborative manner. <br />Adiourment <br />Haas made motion, Puleo seconded, to adjourn at 9:35 p.m. <br />All AYES.
