MINUTES FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF MARCH 26.2001 <br />Mayor Fran Miron called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm at the Hugo City Hall. <br />PRESENT: Granger, Petryk, Puleo, Miron, and Councilman Haas via telephone. <br />City Administrator, Michael Ericson <br />City Attorney, Dave Snyder <br />Attorney Paul Haik and JD2 Plaintiffs and citizens <br />This meeting was called for the purpose of sharing with the public Judge Stephen Muehlberg's ruling <br />on the JD2 lawsuit. The City lost the trial because it did not exhaust its administrative remedies. <br />The Mayor passed the gavel to Council member Petryk and sat in the audience. <br />Paul Haik explained the legal aspects of the Judge's ruling. Council members asked a few questions. <br />Petryk made motion, Granger seconded, to go into executive session with plaintiffs. <br />All Aye. Motion Carried. <br />After entering into regular session, City Attorney Dave Snyder stated the decision by the City Council. <br />Mayor Miron returned to his chair. <br />Granger made motion, Petryk seconded, to adjourn at 10:32 pm. <br />All aye.
