MINUTES FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF JULY 20.2000 <br />Mayor Walter Stoltzman called to order this special meeting of the City Council at 7:00 pm. <br />PRESENT: Barnes, Haas, Leroux, Petryk, Stoltzman <br />City Administrator, Michael Ericson <br />This special meeting was called to conduct a town meeting to consider plans for a new City <br />Hall. Bob Russek, chief architect for Bonestroo, Rosene, Andelik, and Associates, and project <br />manager for the feasibility study, made a presentation that included: <br />• The goals of the feasibility study <br />■ Drawings and descriptions of each of the three options described: <br />1. Remodel/renovate to expand the present City Hall <br />2. Remodel/renovate the Rice Lake Park building <br />3. Construct a new building on a new site in Hugo <br />• An evaluation matrix to rate each option based on a specific set of criteria <br />After Mr. Russek's presentation, the Council entertained questions from residents present in the <br />audience. The results of the meeting will be incorporated into the final draft of the City Hall <br />Feasibility Study, and presented to the City Council at its regular scheduled meeting on August <br />21, 2000. <br />Barnes made motion, Leroux seconded, to adjourn at 9:00 pm. <br />All aye.
