Motion Carried.
VARIANCE (SCHOLZ)
David & LaVerna Scholz, 12962 Keller Ave., requested a 35' variance from the 200' required
setback from the ordinary high water mark of School Section Lake. They also requested to
construct a 1,500 square foot detached building for accessory storage. There is currently a 2,600
square foot building on the site, but no garage. The conservancy district ordinance allows 1,000
square feet for a detached garage and 3,600 square feet for accessory storage. The Board of
Zoning Adjustments considered this request at their meeting of April 28, 1999, and
recommended approval of a variance of 35' to the required setback from the ordinary high water
mark of School Section Lake, and to allow the construction of 1,500 sq ft detached accessory
building on the site. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the variances as recommended
by the Board of Adjustments.
VARIANCE (PELOQUIN)
John Peloquin, 15175 Forest Boulevard, requested a variance of 150 square feet to enlarge his
attached garage to 1150 square feet, where the maximum allowed by ordinance in the SFE
district is 1000 square feet. This matter was considered by the Board of Zoning Adjustments at
their meeting of April 28, 1999, and recommended approval of the 150 sq ft variance at the
above address. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approve the construction of a 1,150 sq ft
garage on the property.
