MINUTES FOR THE CLOSED SESSION OF JUNE 21.1999 <br />PRESENT: Barnes, Haas, Leroux, Petryk, Stoltzman <br />City Administrator, Robert Museus <br />City Attorney, Greg Galler <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />Mr. Paul Haik, representing the City in litigation over JD2, informed the Council that he <br />had met with legal representatives from the RCWD and the DNR to set up a mediation <br />process to potentially resolve the issues in this case. He informed the Council that the <br />RCWD had not yet provided a list of issue they wish to discuss during mediation; they are <br />unwilling to commit any funds to pay for mediation. Representatives from the principal <br />parties involved in litigation will be meeting again in the near future to review possible <br />candidates to serve as mediator in this dispute. <br />Due to the late hour, Mr. Haik recommended that the Council meet with him in the near <br />future for approximately an hour to discuss the implications of pending legislation on the <br />lawsuit. <br />Leroux made motion, Haas seconded, to adjourn the closed session and return to open <br />session at 11:17 pm. <br />All aye.
