Motion Carried. <br />DRAFT LETTER <br />Haas made motion, Leroux seconded, to send the letter to Doug Fischer, Washington County Engineer, <br />requesting the County contribute financially to the improvements being made to the intersection of 140th <br />Street and TH61, as the Council has indicated an intent in rerouting CSAH8 to this intersection. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />WELL FIELD SELECTION PROCESS <br />Leroux made motion, Haas seconded, directing staff to obtain an appraisal for a potential site for the <br />well field. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />PERSONNEL POLICY AMENDMENT <br />Based on Council discussion on July 6, 1999, the City Administrator prepared revised language to the <br />City's Personnel Policy to allow regular, full-time employees of the City to choose to take a cash <br />payment in lieu of receiving health insurance benefits from the City. <br />Petryk made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the Personnel Policy Amendment, and allow the City <br />Clerk to a cash payment in lieu of receiving health benefits, retroactive to January 1, 1999. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Stoltzman made motion, Petryk seconded, to recess tonight's meeting at 11:00 p.m. until Monday, <br />August 9, 1999, at 7:00 p.m. <br />All aye.
