Goiffon, LaValle, Miron <br />City Administrator, Robert Museus <br />City Attorney, Greg Galler <br />City Engineer, Joel Dresel <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />Councilman Leroux arrived at 7:10 PM. <br />Miron made motion, Goiffon seconded, to adopt the following consent <br />calendar: <br />Minutes for Council meetino of April 3. 1995 <br />Minutes for special Council meeting of April 8. 1995 <br />Claims for April 17. 1995 in the amount of $58,045.19 <br />Table consideration of Rock Crusher Ordinance revision until May 1. 1995 <br />Approve Use of City Facilities by WBL Community Recreation <br />Approve Request of Cub Scouts to Use Rice Labe Farb:. Building for One Day <br />Approve Charitable Gambling License for Forest Lake Athletic Association <br />The foregoing consent calendar was adopted unanimously. <br />APPROVE ELMCREST AVENUE BRIDGE REPLACEMENT BID <br />On March 20, 1995, the Washington County Public Works Department received <br />bids for the replacement of the bridge over Hardwood Creek: at Elmcrest <br />Avenue, and recommended accepting the low bid made by Midwest Contracting <br />of Marshall, MN., in the amount of $105,869.00. The cities of Hugo and <br />Lino Lakes share for this work.. based on the bid amount, will be <br />$40,090.00. The Washington County Department of Public Works will <br />administer the project for State Aid purposes, and the City Engineer will <br />monitor and supervise construction. (.COUNCILMAN LEROUX ARRIVED AT 7:10 <br />PM). <br />LaValle made motion, Leroux; seconded, to accept the low bid from Midwest <br />Contracting, in the amount of $105,869.00, for replacement of the bridge <br />over Hardwood Creek. at Elmcrest Avenue. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />APPROVE PURCHASE OF RECYCLING BINS <br />The Council considered a memo from the City Administer recommendino <br />purchase of 21,00") recycling bins from Ellison Equipment, for use in the <br />City's recycling program, at a cost of $1.=,040.00, plus sales tax. County <br />Waste Abatement Grant funds will be used to fund the purchase <br />Miron made motion, Goiffon seconded, to approve purchase of 2,000 <br />recycling binds from Ellison Equipment, at a cost of $13,040, plus sales <br />tax. <br />All aye.
