MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF DECEMBER 18. 1995 <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Fran Miron at 7:00 PM. <br />PRESENT: Barnes, Goiffon, LaValle. Leroux. Miron <br />City Administrator, Robert MuseUS <br />City Attorney, Greg Galler <br />City Engineer, Tom Angus <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />ADDITIONS TO AGENDA: <br />Discussion on extension of utilities/blacktop road in Peloquin Ind Parti: <br />Letter to May Township <br />Grant Application for Flood Hazard <br />Council's calendar for December and January <br />Update on River City Asphalt <br />Disciplinary action (Fire Dept) <br />Leroux made motion, Goiffon seconded, to adopt the following Consent <br />Agenda: <br />Minutes for the City Council meeting of December 4, 1995 <br />Minutes for the City Council meeting of December 7, 1995 <br />Minutes for the City Council meeting of December 12, 1995 <br />Minutes for the City Council meeting of December 13, 1995 <br />Claims for December 18. 1995 <br />Letter to Brown's Creek Area Residents Re: Flood Issues <br />1996 Business Licenses (see attached) <br />Reduction in Letter of Credit (Rice Lake Meadows end Addition) <br />The foregoing Consent Aqenda was adopted unanimously. <br />PELOQUIN INDUSTRIAL PARK <br />Jim Kellison, representing Jim Olson, owner of Imperial Tool, addressed <br />the Council requesting that the City extend City utilities and blacktop <br />roads in the Peloquin Industrial Parti:.. Mr. Olson would like to keep his <br />business in Hugo, but would consider leaving if these improvements are not <br />constructed. <br />Miron made motion, Lerou;; seconded, directing City staff to make <br />improvements in the Peloquin Industrial Parti; an "A" priority, and schedUlF <br />a public hearing for January 16, 1995 at 7:05 PM for consideration of the <br />feasibility report to extend City utilities and blacktop roads in the <br />Peloquin Industrial Parti:.. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />ANIMAL_ CONTROL CONTRACT <br />At the City Council meeting of December 4, 1995, the Council expressed <br />concerns regarding typographic mistakes in the document, and requested <br />that they be corrected prior to the City's approval of the agreement. A <br />revised Contract was submitted to the Council for their approval. Council <br />member Barnes asked that the Contract be amended to include a reference to <br />licensing requirements prior to release of the animal. <br />
