MINUTES <br />HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />August 13, 2009 <br />Call to Order <br />Chairman Schumann called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Galler, Kleissler, McRoberts, Moore, Rosenquist, Schumann <br />ABSENT: None <br />ALSO PRESENT: Bryan Bear, Community Development Director <br />Dennis Fields, Community Development Assistant <br />Rachel Simone, Associate Planner <br />Approval of Minutes of July 9th, 2009 <br />Galler made motion, Moore seconded, to approve the Planning Commission minutes of <br />July 9, 2009. <br />All Ayes <br />Motion carried. <br />Abstain: Rosenquist, McRoberts <br />Public Hearing for a Conditional Use Permit at 6128 Goodview Ave Trail Circle North <br />Associate Planner, Rachel Simone, gave the background to the Planning Commission. The <br />request was to allow 125% of the maximum accessory building space. The applicant wanted to <br />build a building that was 324 square feet on the property where 260 square feet is allowed. The <br />application meets the criteria and staff recommended approval of the CUP request. <br />Schumann asked if the trailer for the applicant's home based business was allowed to be stored <br />outside. <br />Rachel answered that he cannot store the trailer outside, he is only allowed one work related <br />vehicle, trailers are not allowed. <br />McRoberts asked if he needed an IUP for his home based business. <br />Rachel answered that the applicant meets all of the criteria for having a home based business <br />without an IUP. <br />Schumann opened the public hearing. <br />
