MINUTES <br />HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />November 12, 2009 <br />Call to Order <br />Vice Chairperson Kleissler called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Arcand, Gwynn, Kleissler, Moore, Rosenquist, Schumann <br />ABSENT: McRoberts <br />ALSO PRESENT: Bryan Bear, Community Development Director <br />Dennis Fields, Community Development Assistant <br />Rachel Simone, Associate Planner <br />Approval of Minutes of August 13th, 2009 <br />Gwynn made motion, Schumann seconded, to approve the Planning Commission minutes of <br />September 24, 2009 as presented. <br />All Ayes <br />Motion carried. <br />Public Hearing — IUP, Special Events, Transient Merchants, and Peddlers Ordinance <br />Associate Planner, Rachel Simone, gave the background to the Planning Commission. She <br />explained that the Ordinance was reviewed by the Ordinance Review Committee with members <br />from the Planning Commission, and City Council. <br />Rachel outlined the changes for the Planning Commission. <br />Kleissler opened the Public Hearing. <br />Kleissler closed the Public Hearing. <br />Schumann made a motion, seconded by Gwynn, to approve the changes to the Ordinance as <br />presented. <br />All ayes, motion carried. <br />2010 Goal Setting Session <br />Community Development Director Bryan Bear gives the background to the Planning <br />Commission on the history of goal setting sessions. He explained that the approval of the City's <br />Comprehensive Plan will kick some items into high gear. <br />
