Oath of Office <br />Newly appointed Commissioner Kelly Bailly read the Oath of Office. <br />Call to Order <br />Chairperson Schumann called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Bailly, Kleissler, Malaski, McRoberts, Peltier, Rosenquist, Schumann <br />ALSO PRESENT: Kendra Lindahl, Planner <br />Michele Lindau, Planning Commission Secretary <br />Minutes for Planning Commission Meeting May 9, 2002 <br />Peltier made motion, Malaski seconded, to recommend approval of the Planning Commission <br />minutes for May 9, 2002. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Jackson Campus Development <br />The Planning Commission considered the application of Tom Jackson and Judy Marier, 21262 <br />Floral Bay North, Forest Lake, for a conditional use permit for a campus development on Lot 4, <br />Block 1, Bald Eagle Industrial Park 4th Addition and site plan approval for a 19,200 square foot <br />building on the site. The conditional use permit would be for a campus development to allow <br />multiple buildings on the property; however, the applicant was only seeking site plan approval for <br />the first building. The future buildings in the campus development would receive access from a <br />future road/driveway to the north on the City property for which the City Council had not formally <br />approved the construction. A condition in the draft resolution required this access to be <br />constructed prior to allowing additional development on the property. <br />The proposed building would be an office/warehouse condominium building divided into eight <br />2,400 square foot tenant spaces. Depending on future uses, one tenant could occupy more than <br />one space. Under the proposed condominium concept, each tenant would own their individual <br />space and pay monthly fees for the upkeep of the exterior improvements. <br />Staff found the proposed site plan complied with the City's regulations regarding building height, <br />building setbacks, parking, impervious surface, exterior lighting, and building materials.
