MINUTES FOR THE HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br />DECEMBER 15, 1999 <br />The meeting was called to order by Planning Commission Chairperson Puleo at 7:00 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Kellison, Kleissler, Peltier, Peterson, Puleo, Schumann <br />City Administrator, Robert Museus <br />Deputy Clerk, Michele Lindau <br />ABSENT: Malaski <br />Minutes of October 27, 1999 <br />Kellison made motion, Kleissler seconded, to approve the Planning Commission minutes for the <br />meeting of November 17, 1999, as submitted. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Conditional Use Permit (Neamy) <br />The Planning Commission considered a letter from Attorney Mr. Frederic Knaak requesting, on <br />behalf of his clients Scott and Lea Ann Neamy, an extension of the time to submit a plan for the <br />Planning Commission's review of the Conditional Use Permit application. <br />Schumann made motion, Peltier seconded, to table consideration of the Conditional Use Permit <br />as Mr. Knaak requested, and allow the Neamy's a month to submit their plan for consideration at <br />the January meeting of the Planning Commission. <br />Site Plan Application (Como Lube & Supplies) <br />The Planning Commission considered a site plan for Como Lube & Supplies, Inc., 1108 Port <br />Terminal Drive, Duluth, to construct a 14,750 square foot building on 1.86 acres located on Lot <br />2, Block 1, Bald Eagle Industrial Park Third Addition. <br />Planning Commission member Kellison, who was representing Como Lube & Supplies, excused <br />himself from the Planning Commission and presented the project to the Commission. <br />Kellison briefed the Planning Commission on the site plan and explained the building will be <br />used for remanufacturing, packaging, and warehousing of oil and automotive related liquids., <br />with approximately 2,894 square feet for office space. <br />The Planning Commission considered the reports prepared by the City Planner and City <br />Engineer, which stated there was not sufficient information submitted for a thorough review of <br />engineering issues. <br />
