Minutes <br />Page 2 <br />- January 25, 1995 <br />Proposal in some <br />detail including the possibility <br />of a planned <br />unit <br />development to <br />include post office and multifamily <br />homes. <br />The Planning <br />Commission has <br />concerns regarding traffic <br />flow, impact on <br />adjacent <br />property owners <br />and future growth of the <br />area. Generally, <br />the Commission <br />was in favor <br />of the site for a post office <br />with appropriate <br />adjacent <br />land <br />use, and Mr. <br />Garry was requested to provide <br />alternate options for <br />development of <br />the site to the Planning <br />Commission. <br />The planner briefly <br />reviewed the proposal <br />and offered options <br />regarding <br />utilities, circulation, <br />businesses on a <br />frontage road, and <br />permature <br />zoning. <br />Schumann made <br />motion, seconded by Miltz-Miller <br />to appoint <br />Tim Agness, <br />vice-chair of <br />the Planning Commission. <br />All aye, motion <br />passed. <br />Mr. Ed Elliott, <br />of Loucks and Associates <br />presented a detailed <br />update <br />on <br />the revised comprehensive <br />plan (and discussed <br />the work to <br />date in <br />some <br />detail) with <br />the Planning Commission and <br />specifically requested <br />that <br />the <br />Commission review <br />the issues section to <br />determine if all <br />the concerns <br />of <br />the City were <br />being adequately addressed <br />in an appropriate <br />manner. <br />To <br />give the Planning <br />Commission time to review <br />the work done <br />to date <br />and <br />prepare comments. <br />Miltz-Miller <br />made motion, seconded by Schumann, <br />to schedule <br />a special <br />meeting of the <br />Hugo Planning Commission <br />on February 15, 1995 <br />at 7:00PM, <br />to <br />discuss the revised <br />comprehensive plan. <br />Motion made by <br />Rubenzer, seconded by Miltz-Miller <br />to adjourn <br />at 10:25PM. <br />
