Minutes - 3/22/95 <br />Page Three <br />SPECIAL USE PERMIT - CONCRETE YARD ORNAMENTS <br />Garland Vacinek has requested a special use permit to install a 4'x8' <br />plywood painted directional sign at the southwest corner of 165th Street <br />and Highway 61. The property is zoned industrial. <br />Mr. Vacinek was present to discuss this matter with the Planning <br />Commission. He stated the sign was necessary to direct the public from <br />Trunk Highway 61 to his business at 165th Street. No other comments were <br />received. <br />Miltz-Miller made a motion, seconded by Agness, to grant the special use <br />permit for a two year period subject to the conditions that the permitee <br />maintain the sign and the adjacent area in accordance with City <br />ordinance. The top of the sign shall not exceed 16' from the ground. <br />All aye, motion passed. <br />SITE PLAN APPROVAL. - WILSON TOOL <br />Wilson Tool has requested site plan approval to construct a 36,200 sq. ft. <br />building on their property in the Bald Eagle Industrial Park. The <br />proposed building is located on the south side of Farnham Ave. and south <br />of 130th St. The building will be used as a manufacturing machine shop <br />and office. <br />Kellison made a motion, seconded by Miltz-Miller to approve the site plan <br />subject to an approved landscaping plan and Wilson Tool acquiring all <br />necessary permits with the Watershed District and other agencies before <br />construction on the site. <br />All aye, motion passed. <br />FINDINGS OF FACT -- WOODS OF BALD EAGLE <br />Planning Commission considered findings of fact prepared by the City <br />attorney, Greg Galler, regarding the Planning Commissions action on March <br />7, 1995, concerning a new development called the Woods of Bald Eagle. <br />The Planning Commission reviewed the document prepared by Mr. Galler and <br />Agness made a motion to amend the findings of fact by changing the <br />wording. In the first sentence of item 9 in the staff recommendations it <br />is to read as follows: "Public water and sanitary sewer lines will be <br />sized to allow continuation of service to potential areas of service <br />outside of the plat extending south to 120th Street." Seconded by <br />Peltier. <br />All aye, motion passed. <br />Agness made a motion, seconded by Malaski, to approve the findings of fact <br />as amended. <br />All aye, motion passed. <br />
